The Weekend Oasis

March 28th, 2009 at The Rave; The "Take Action" tour stops by. The "Take Action Tour" was known as the "Plea For Peace Tour", until they recently changed it. The tour is about spreading awareness of teen depression and suicide, as a portion of the ticket sales will be donated for the cause. The tour was created in 2002 by both Sub City and Hopeless Records, which they still manage. Tickets on www.Ticketmaster.com are for $16.50 each.

This years artists come fresh off new albums dropped in '08. Opening will be Anarbor, Every Avenue, Breathe Carolina, Meg & Dia, and headlining the tour is Cute Is What We Aim For.

Devirginized on Blogger

->Hello to all, and welcome to my blog. I haven't gotten my website (rechord-breaking-news) up yet, so this will keep me busy in the meantime.

->I'll be posting interviews on here, like my interview with the local artist, Rehyn. I interviewed her a few weeks ago and that will be on here soon. I also plan on interviewing a few bands in the near future, one hopefully next week. Breathe Carolina is in Milwaukee and am waiting to get an e-mail back from them, so keep your fingers crossed.

->I'll also be throwing up music I'm currently listening to on here, as well as music news, song and album reviews, new releases and much more. I'll either have the song up on here, or I'll have a link where you can listen to it yourself.

-> So, with that if you could please fasten your seat belts, put your tray tables in the upright position and prepare for take off...
